Employer Partnerships

Help a participant practice workplace skills in a real setting.

Mentoring Me Inc. partners with businesses and community organizations to coordinate supported Work-Based Learning Experiences for students with disabilities ages 14–21 who are enrolled in school.

What is a Work-Based Learning Experience?

A WBLE gives a student structured, supervised exposure to a workplace connected to their interests and approved goals. The experience is coordinated under the participant’s Florida Vocational Rehabilitation authorization.

Meaningful career exposure

Participants learn about real roles, routines, expectations and career pathways.

Supported skill practice

Participants practice communication, professionalism, problem-solving and task completion.

Individualized matching

Placement decisions consider the participant’s interests, strengths, goals and support needs.

Documented progress

Participation and skill development are tracked throughout the authorized experience.

A simple partnership process

1

Conversation

We learn about your worksite, available tasks and preferred schedule.

2

Match

We identify an appropriate participant and confirm the authorized service.

3

Setup

Roles, schedule, supervision, documentation and supports are confirmed.

4

Experience

The participant begins with coaching, check-ins and ongoing communication.

Submitting an inquiry does not guarantee a placement. Every match depends on participant needs, referral status, authorization and worksite fit.

Start a worksite partnership conversation

Tell us about your business, the types of tasks a participant could observe or practice, and the best person to contact.
